Last Friday was the first Calibre Golf Day. Eight consultants from our Leeds & Manchester offices met on the Yorkshire side of the Pennines at the picturesque Oulton Hall, just outside Leeds. A lack of technique and ability didn’t affect them and apart from a bit of slow play we didn’t embarrass ourselves too much. Strong performances (both playing and coaching) from Mike Tobin and Sam Sykes certainly helped to lift the average.
Congratulations to Mike Tobin for winning the tournament.
Sam Sykes for winning the longest drive.
And Nick Rhodes for winning the hotly-contested Wooden Spoon.
Next year will be an Open competition with friends of Calibre invited to play so if you would like to be notified please let us know.
