An excellent Geoenvironmental engineer role has come available in the Birmingham area for a well-respected Geoenvironmental & Geotechnical consultancy to work on a mixture of residential and commercial developments. You will gain exposure within both project management of smaller schemes and technical report writing on an interpretive (Geoenvironmentsal / Geotechnical) and remedial basis.

The role surrounds delivering Geoenvironmental projects from initial phase 1 right through to overseeing the remedial strategy and validating the site ready for redevelopment. Once you are settled, you will be required to manage and deliver all phases of the projects including Land Quality Assessments, Desk Studies & Walkovers, Ground Investigations, Foundation Design, Risk Assessments, Remediation Strategy Design and Validation.

To proceed, it will be expected that you have the following:

  • A good class honours degree in geology/engineering geology/geotechnics/geo-environmental engineering or related geo-science.
  • Experience within the UK completing phase 1 & 2 site investigations, logging soil & rock samples, site monitoring.
  • Ability to deliver reports on a factual and/or interpretive basis either for geotechnical or Geoenvironmental.
  • Have a full UK driving licence.
