Intermediate Mechanical Building Services Engineer

A worldwide building services consultant, are looking for an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expert team, in the centre of Birmingham. They are known to be a leader in large pioneering projects, working with highly acclaimed architects and clients, they have a reputation for having a superb office environment and being a great company to work for.

Candidates will have the opportunity to work on large projects within the Residential, Commercial, Healthcare and Education sectors. You will be mentored by a Chartered Mechanical Engineer that will give you the support needed to progress into a senior level. You will be working with the team and independently on the designs of Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning and Plumbing systems on these projects. You will work in a client facing role, attending design team meetings and managing your own deadlines.

What you need:

  • You are required to have a Degree in Building Services/ Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 2 years' experience in Building Services Mechanical Design Engineering
  • Experience working on HEVACOMP and AutoCAD
  • Preferably you will have strong skills in BIM focused and thermal modelling software although this is not essential.
