Role: Geo-Environmental Engineer
Salary: £20,000 - £24,000
Location: Birmingham / Longbridge
I am looking to speak with a Geo-Environmental Engineer situated around the West Midlands with either contractor or consultancy experience looking to join an established consultancy where you will gain exposure in delivering complex Geo-Environmental & Geotechnical projects from Phase 1 through to remediation / validation stages.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with contaminated land / geotechnical site investigation experience to gain exposure within the technical office duties. They will develop you on the development of site / groundwater Risk Assessments & conceptual site models, Interpretive reports, production of remedial method statements for contaminated land sites whilst getting involved in foundation design for a range of residential, retail, commercial and industrial development.
Due to the size of the team in Birmingham / Longbridge, they can also offer you project management involving the budget, time and resource management.
It is essential that the applicant has a relevant degree with previous UK, Australian or New Zealand site investigation experience on Geo-Environmental / Geotechnical property or infrastructure projects. You should have a good understanding of logging to BS 5930 and Eurocode 7 and have a full clean driving licence. Experience within Geo-Environmental technical office dues are beneficial but not essential as full training if provided.
