I am looking to speak with any experienced Transport Planners based in and around the Derby area, to discuss an opportunity in the City Centre. I am currently working with one of the UK's largest, independently owned consultancies who are looking to expand upon their existing transport infrastructure. They have teams offering; Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering services to a vast range of clients across the UK, with their main work currently coming within the industrial and distribution industries, commercial developments and some bread and butter residential projects too.

They currently have a huge amount of work for you to get your teeth stuck into so this is a great opportunity if you are wanting to start a role and have no stale periods at the beginning waiting for something to do. Likewise, you will slot most effectively into this team if you can work unsupervised writing; Travel Plans, Transport Assessments and Transport Statements on a variety of projects, ideally, but they can make it work if you are specialised within one sector. The team is structured from Associate through to Apprentice and they want a Transport Planner to slot in the middle of this team, either at Senior or Transport Planner level. Of the current Board of Directors, over 50% started their careers at this consultancy at Graduate level which is living proof of the huge amount of progression on offer and the belief of this consultancy to promote from within.
