Senior Civil Engineer Designer
Calibre Search is currently working with another one of our main clients, this time in the North West, Wigan. I'm currently looking for an experience Civil Engineer who has at least 2-3 years working for an engineering consultancy and is familiar with the software packages Microdrainage and PDS.
This consultancy have 5 offices based in the UK, but are notoriously known for buying other engineering consultancies to add to their arsenal of work. The consultancy have a more 'laid back' approach in regards to their working strategy as they want their employee's to feel comfortable in work as they believe this enhances work ethic.
The Senior Civil Engineer should be able to design aspects of roads and drainage, along with having knowledge of s278, 104, 38's, and highways drainage design experience. This is an excellent opportunity to help lead an already established team and push through to the Principal level currently open. Whether you see yourself as a Senior or Principal this role is certainly for you with an excellent salary, benefits package and work life balance.
Microdraiange and PDS experience is essential with this role as the predominance of work in Civils is done on these packages, you should also have experience leading a small team if not a couple of engineers. Project delivery and BD experience is on offer to be tough and shown the more client facing side, as this consultancy are focussing more on someone with a technical hands on approach.
If you are keen on working on large major infrastructure schemes, then please do not hesitate to give me a call on 0161 660 2360.
