Description


The Transport and Infrastructure (T&I) Water team in this international consultancy are seeking Water and Drainage Engineers to join the fast-growing team providing water services for the consultancy from all offices in the North West.
As part of the growing T&I national water team a typical week would include:

  • Being an integral part providing support both locally within the North West and around the country
  • Helping to deliver highway and rail projects both nationally and internationally


Current projects range in size from smaller local authority development to large scale national projects including those delivered by the EA Framework, PDU, AMP and Wem framework, Highways England, Network Rail and HS2. They also lead the provision of airport drainage services within working on schemes globally. Along with this they primarily have schemes on the development infrastructure side too, with Residential / Commercial / Educational and Health projects across the North West too.

About You
The successful candidates should have technical expertise and experience in the design of surface and foul water drainage systems for public infrastructure projects. Including use of Micro Drainage design software; although the successful candidate will be supported by a network of experienced Engineers that will support further development.
The candidates should be working towards Chartered status with CIWEM or the ICE and have technical expertise and experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Surface water drainage design;
  • Foul water drainage design;
  • DMRB Volume 4 Section 2 and MCHW Series 500;
  • Sewers for Adoptions 7th Edition;
  • River engineering and scour assessment;
  • AutoCAD, Civils 3D.
