Title - Project Civil Engineer
Location - Manchester
Salary - £35,500-£43,000

Calibre Search are currently working alongside a national consultancy in order to find a Civil Infrastructure Engineer to help the team with their current workload. The consultancy whom are looking specialise in Civil, Structural and more recently Transportation detailed design and have been one of the most well-respected consultancies in the UK for over 20 years now. They are notoriously known for leading most of the UK's leading projects.

The current Civil Infrastructure team stands at over 12 technical staff and is made up of Associate, Principal, Senior, Graduate Engineers and technicians also, the Senior needed will be looking after an already established team for some hands-on design work and also project delivery with a technical input. Highways, Infrastructure and Drainage are the speciality, but they also design Civil schemes on Educational, Residential, Health, Commercial and Airport projects, with high profile clients/schemes such as Liverpool FC Stadia and Training Facilites, Haydock Racecourse and many more.

You, as the Project Civil Engineer will be expected to have proficient experience on the following

*A BEng or similar technical qualification/experience, with relevant knowledge gained in a design office environment. Ideally 3 + years.
*Excellent analysis and technical design skills in AutoCAD, WinDES / Microdrainage and Civils 3D.
Desirables
*Excellent experience in residential estate design
*Experience working with United Utilities and other water authorities
*Experience of Section 104, 278 and 38 highway adoption projects
*Experience of applying highway standards and have a knowledge of drainage and pavement design
*Experience preparing drainage strategies on greenfield and brownfield schemes
*Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments & Liaising with the LLFA and EA.

You will gain experience and exposure to working on and delivering some of the biggest projects currently in the UK with a lot of their clients being based in the North West, West Midlands and London. Projects more to date include schemes worth over £220 million which need a Senior Civil Engineer to oversee the design and delivery from a technical point of view.
