A Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer has come available for an SME engineering consultancy situated in the Coventry area with a national presence that has a project portfolio that boasts some of the West Midlands most prestigious private development, property and brownfield development schemes.

As a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will be permanently situated within the office managing projects from tender stand through to final invoice on a technical and financial basis. You will have the chance to mentor junior engineers and help to build / develop the team.

Your main responsibilities as a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer will include project management. You will be leading technical reports on a Geo-Environmental / Geotechnical Interpretive basis, Qualitative & Quantitative Risk assessment and development of remediation options and strategies, remediation and earthworks verification.

As a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer, you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Degree in Geology or Environmental Science whilst obtaining an MSc
  • Chartered or approaching Chartered Engineer status
  • At least 5 years within a UK Geo-Environmental, Contaminated Land or Geotechnical Consultancy.
  • Extensive experience of Phase I Desk Study and Phase II and III ground Investigations
  • Strong report writing skills on a contaminated land, risk assessment, remedial and/or geotechnical basis.
