An outstanding opportunity in Salford for a design and build contractor looking for a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to work in the Building Services sector for a renowned Engineering Design and Build company. Preferably, with previous Building Services experience behind you already, you will have experience of Mechanical Design Engineering 2D AutoCAD possibly done some 3D work using either AutoCAD or Revit MEP.

You will be working in Salford as a Mechanical Building Services Engineer as part of a planned expansion to the team. You will be working on a selection of projects; mostly new builds and some refurb works as well. The schemes that are currently being done are Public, Commercial, Education, Industrial and Residential projects. Currently they have a number of live projects across Liverpool and Manchester. You will be working within a team of engineers and an existing CAD department who will help you through the initial transition in the role.

Whilst working in the role you will be working alongside a Chartered Senior Mechanical Engineer who will support you through the role and help you with CEng applications in the future. Were deemed necessary, any training will be provided, you will be working on current CIBSE guidelines within the role too. If you have not got any Revit MEP experience, then full training will be given as part of this role but ideally we would like to see someone who can setup projects, conduct basic services review, schedule creation and make amendments to the existing model. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has completed a relevant engineering degree qualification.
