I am looking to speak with an ambitious Air Quality Consultant with a passion to move into a senior / project management position. You will have the opportunity to take major projects from inception through to completion whilst helping to build and develop the Air Quality team in Manchester.

An SME Environmental Consultancy with a well-established office in Manchester that can offer a wide range of projects across multiple sectors. This company have an ethos that allows its employees to take on as much responsibility as insisted to allow them to develop as fast as possible!

You will be joining a busy and diverse Air Quality team where projects range from small single source dispersion modelling studies, through to complex multi-source industrial impact assessments. You will be given project management and client liaison from day one to learn the fundamentals of how to manage/delegate projects independently on a small to large scale.

As an Air Quality Consultant, your duties will include:

  • Production of quotes and tenders
  • Undertaking air quality assessments.
  • Dispersion modelling.
  • Data analysis and interpretation.
  • Preparation of technical reports.
  • Management projects.
  • Development of client relationships.

Qualifications/Role Requirements:

  • Atmospheric science or environmental based degree.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Previous experience of air quality consultancy / modelling experience.
  • Able to manage own projects from initial proposal to final invoice.
  • Knowledge of standard methodologies for assessment of roads, industrial and dust emissions.
  • Membership of relevant professional body (IAQM/IEMA).
  • Experience of business development/marketing would be advantageous.
