Description

Mechanical Building Services Engineer
Manchester
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Ref: 21606

A technically minded, diligent, strong Principal Mechanical Engineer is sought for a role in Belfast to work for a new branch of a very established arm of a Building Services Engineering Consultancy with 3 offices in England. Their 3 existing offices are doing very well, the firm is established and very well known within their primary sectors of work. The business itself has over 50 members of staff and this, their latest move is the opening of this office in central Belfast. The business has grown organically throughout its existence, owing to the strength of their relationships with repeat clients.

We are looking a Project Lead Mechanical Building Services Engineer. You need to have a strong background in Mechanical Building Services design and a strong track record of delivering projects successfully. The plan is, that once set, you will be able to grow a team locally and begin to manage and mentor engineers as part of your role. You will be joined by one of the Directors of the business on a regular basis and as the workload increases their presence and the presence of a team will become more prominent, they are keen to support growth, organically, within the Belfast office.

That being said, the best part about this opportunity is that you have the backing of a fantastic brand, a team of circa 50 engineers across a variety of Building Services disciplines and the clout of a company who has a strong reputation in delivering key projects elsewhere. You will be overseeing projects in the Commercial, Residential, Mixed Use and Education sectors, so experience across a wide variety of Building Services projects would be useful.

You will be registered with CIBSE or another recognised engineering board. Ideally you will be degree or masters qualified and have achieved Chartership or be approaching it. You will need to be familiar with some mechanical design engineer software, which includes but is not limited to: Hevacomp, Cymap, TAS, Autocad and Revit.

If this role sounds of interest, or you require more information, please feel free to give Rob Jones in Calibre Search's Manchester office a call.
