I am looking for a talented Research Executive or Senior Research Executive to join one of the most reputable research agencies in the UK.


This is an excellent position for an ambitious marketing researcher who enjoys working within an agency environment. This will provide a great platform for personal and professional development, working with industry experts and global brands.

Providing qualitative and quantitative consumer research, and commercial strategy consultancy within the media sector, in addition to technology, sports, entertainment and the arts.


No two projects are the same - giving you plenty of opportunity to get creative. Some projects are 'pure research', and some are 'combined research and strategy'. With an impressive ever-expanding client list that is hard to beat this agency strives for best-in class.


All of their research projects are designed bespoke, combining a blend of established and cutting-edge methods. Some of the exciting work includes, informing cross-platform marketing campaigns for Google and Netflix, conducting studies for the BBC to inform the development of digital products, a series of studies to help Sky decide how to develop Virtual Reality content, a trend study in the US and UK study for a major, a series of studies to help Sky decide how to develop Virtual Reality content, fuelling the development of video-on-demand propositions for clients including BritBox, UKTV and HBO and much more.


As a Research Executive or Senior Research Executive, you will be delivering projects for a range of clients, involved in all aspects of the project from start to finish including briefs, design, fieldwork and analysis. All projects vary greatly so creativity and an ability to find the best solution for the client is a must. You will be delivering concise analysis and engaging outputs and taking ownership of projects / project elements. You should have the analytical ability to contribute to analysis sessions and identify key themes. It is essential that you can work well under pressure, using initiative, and demonstrating a high level of attention to detail, combined with excellent client care skills.


You will be delivering and presenting high quality work and producing outstanding client service and project management, maintaining fantastic relationships with large, international clients and collaborating throughout projects with colleagues in other teams (quantitative research and commercial strategy) to ensure that clients enjoy a seamless project experience and a single cohesive narrative in the findings.


Tasks include attending briefing meetings, background/desk research, preparing proposals, writing recruitment materials and liaising with field suppliers, creating bespoke discussion guides, preparing stimulus materials, qualitative fieldwork (mostly online currently owing to Covid, but including face-to-face interviewing in future), developing video-editing briefs, qualitative analysis, charting in PowerPoint, writing Word reports, and presenting to clients.


To be considered for this role, you should be confident in qualitative and quantitative research methods. It is essential that you have 1+ qualitative research experience from within a research agency and have enthusiasm for, and understanding of, the media and or sports sector. You should have degree-level education (2:1 or 1st) and have ambition to develop skills in offering strategic insight and advice to clients.
