MandE Project Manager

A well known locally based consultancy, they are at the point in their development where they are seeking a M&E Project Manager to take a leading role on schemes across the (mainly) residential and warehousing sectors.

The post will see you working closely with the client and other design partners to develop the brief, discuss concept design and then manage the process through to completion and handover.

While you will not need to be an Electrical Design Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer, having design knowledge will be useful to help you outline the design scope and communicate it to colleagues.

Due to the repeat nature of their work, you will be working within generally established project teams which will enable you to develop strong relationships and a solid process for delivering great projects.

The majority of meetings are held online, so this is not your traditional PM role that would see spending more hours travelling than working.

The salary with the post is in the region of £55000 and they are looking for someone who possibly has a building services design background, but at the very least you will need to have a design awareness and be comfortable working on the client side.

Their package includes pension, 25 days holiday, working from home and flexible hours as well as a bonus scheme. You could be based anywhere in the north given the nature of the post, but you should ideally be based within commuting distance of the Leeds or Harrogate area as they have a presence in both locations.
