I am currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to join one of the UK's largest consultancies South West team, you can be located in any of their three regional offices, located in Cardiff, Bristol and Exeter.
As a Transport Planner in this team you will get the opportunity to work on a great variety of schemes such as Active Travel and Public Transport commissions alongside undertaking transport assessments and Travel Plans. This consultancy champions sustainability and is committed to implementing this in all aspects of their work produced. Implementing EV infrastructure in our cities, SMARHT Energy infrastructure for railways and of course, continuing to implement sustainable active travel across the South West.

Transport Planner's daily responsibilities:
- Coordinating site surveys, data analysis and baseline reviews
- Leading on transport assessments and travel plans for a wide range of developments
- Contributing to strategies and studies relating to active travel, public transport and highways
- Providing transport inputs to multi-disciplinary masterplans and environmental assessments
- Leading meetings with clients and stakeholders as well as working with other disciplines and consultants on projects
Transport Planner's Requirements- Degree or equivalent in Geography, Planning or related subject (Masters' Degree in Transport Planning desirable)
- Working towards or chartered with a relevant professional body
- Delivery focussed
- Ability to work independently and in the team
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
- Enthusiasm to be part of growing the business
- Travel Flexibility
- Working in a multi-disciplinary consulting environment
