Overview
This consultancy is offering a truly unique opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer seeking the next step in their career. With a deep focus on sustainable design solutions and working mostly to RIBA stages 3-4, they specialise in producing detailed designs at a contractor-level standard. This has resulted in a stella reputation within the industry as having a proactive approach and a high level of attention to detail.
Having completed projects within the Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Commercial and High-rise residential sectors, they consistently achieve an annual turnover of £1.2mill+. Due to continuous success, they are now in a position to be selective on the projects they take on, ensuring their clients receive the highest quality throughout.
They are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer with a keen attitude to develop as an engineer. They boast an extremely flexible working environment, with members of their staff working entirely remotely! Due to being a relatively small consultancy, they can provide an ambitious engineer with a crystal-clear pathway to associate level and provide them will all the exposure and training they need along the way.
Role
As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be expected to report and assist the Associate Mechanical Engineers with the production of designs.
Ideally you will have:
- 7+ years' experience within the building services
- Relevant qualifications
- Knowledge of CIBSE guidelines
- An understanding of client requirements
- An understanding of AutoCAD, IES, Revit, Hevacomp and BREEAM (Beneficial)
- Experience with concept design to detailed design through to project completion
