Location: Birmingham
Salary: £28 - 45k depending on experience.

Independent Engineering consultancy located in Birmingham, are looking to appoint an experienced Structural Engineer to work on High Rise, Commercial and Retail Developments located throughout the UK. You will have the opportunity to lead a team of engineers and technicians in the delivery of Structural designs for projects with a value of £50m+.

I am currently looking to speak with Structural Engineers who are ideally proficient on building structures design softwares. This consultancy have a national presence with clients all over the UK and The successful candidate will join the local business in Birmingham and will assist in leading a number of structural / infrastructure schemes as well as liaising with clients and mentoring junior staff. In additional to structural design duties the successful candidate must be willing to develop their skills and work on other civil engineering / infrastructure design matters (highway, drainage and external work design) where necessary. Due to securing several new builds and refurbishment works within the Educational, Sports and Commercial sector, they are looking to expand the Structural team to cope with the growing demand with the addition of a Structural Engineer.

I am looking to speak with talent, enthusiastic Structural Engineers with around 5 years experience working within a consultancy on projects within the Building Structures sector. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge within Structural Design, CDM Regulations and contractual awareness.

This will be an ideal opportunity for somebody who wants to stand out from the crowd and work for one of the countries biggest and recognised consultancies.

Skills - Delivering technical output of structural design for building structures in the UK.
Education - Masters in Structural Engineer or a similar
Software - CSC Fastrack, TEDDS, RAM or ROBOT or similar
Experience - Buildings, Schools, High Rise Residential,
