- Job Title: Architectural Technician (Education)
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
I'm looking to speak with an Architectural Technician with 2-5 years' industry experience. This is a massive opportunity for career progression, you will join an already well-established design team with experienced members. They've have already recruited recently but once again they're looking to add to their team due to expanding workload.
They work in various sectors including education, health care, offices, residential and hospitality. A lot of these projects are large scale and high value projects. They're currently working on a large university masterplan with various construction projects entwined in the scheme. For example, libraries, leisure buildings, laboratories and large office blocks. They project will also involve 2 large student accommodation projects based on the university campus.
The ideal candidate must possess strong design and technical skills already with every intention of improving these skills. Their current projects are almost all on Revit so experience using the software is essential. Building Information Modelling is an essential part of the company's current projects due to large clients who expect only the best work.
- Relevant qualifications at either degree level, HNC or HND level
- Previous experience in the Education sector
- Proficiency in the use of Revit
- Demonstrable Technical experience
- Sound knowledge of UK building regulations
- Confidence in both internal and client meeting.
