Structural Engineer

Are you a collaborative Structural Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? This is an excellent opportunity to work with high-profile private and public-sector clients while helping shape meaningful, environmentally responsible design.

As a Structural Design Engineer, you will contribute to a diverse range of projects, applying strong technical skills, creativity and clear communication. Working closely with Senior and Associate Engineers, you'll gain hands-on project management experience and play an active role in the development of junior team members. This position offers genuine progression towards chartership and future leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Structural engineering design across a variety of project types
• Preparing, presenting and reviewing drawings, reports and calculations
• Supporting and briefing Technicians and Graduate Engineers
• Attending project team meetings and undertaking occasional site surveys/inspections
• Participating in internal design reviews
• Contributing to bid writing and fee proposals
• Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 and internal quality management systems

About You

• Working towards chartership (IStructE / ICE)
• Strong technical design capability with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Collaborative communicator who enjoys working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Passionate about sustainable design, architecture and the wider built environment
• Keen to develop leadership, project management and commercial skills
