About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled and reliable Commercial Gas Engineer to join our maintenance team. This is a full-time, permanent position delivering both planned and reactive services across commercial and domestic heating systems. You'll be part of a supportive environment where safety, compliance, and high-quality service are top priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on heating/combustion systems
• 
  Proactively identify faults and carry out corrective works
• 
  Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with compliance standards
• 
  Execute system upgrades and improvements as required
• 
  Diagnose and repair faults, including basic electrical troubleshooting
• 
  Ensure optimal operation of plant room equipment
• 
  Maintain tools, stock, and cleanliness of all work areas
• 
  Participate in the on-call rota
• 
  Accurately complete job reports and service records
• 
  Support commercial and domestic gas installations
• 
  Undertake minor plumbing and domestic servicing/fault finding

Essential Requirements:

• 
  Valid ACS Commercial & Domestic Gas Certifications, including:
  • 
    Domestic: CCN1, CEN1, CPA1
  • 
    Commercial: CIGA1, COCN1, CBHP1, ICPN1, TPCP1A
• 
  Full UK driving licence
• 
  Proven experience in a similar field-based role
• 
  Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• 
  Flexible approach to working hours and call-outs

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• 
  HVAC controls knowledge
• 
  Basic electrical qualification (e.g. 17th Edition IEE)
• 
  Experience in PFI building maintenance
• 
  Legionella awareness
• 
  Knowledge of pressure system regulations
• 
  Experience working with BMS systems
