BIM Manager
This leading M&E Consultancy is looking for a BIM leader to join their Leeds team in a post that is best described as BIM Manager, and the perfect step-up for a Revit Coordinator keen to progress.
Why?
You'll be looking after a team of four people locally and coordinating the completion of schemes by using spare capacity that colleagues may have, and external BIM bureaus.
This will see you responsible for developing their skills, technical knowledge and personal attributes to ensure their career growth, recruiting for your team and keeping up to date of industry trends to ensure you are at the leading edge of BIM.
From a technical point of view, you'll be overseeing progress on schemes, ensuring that the model is being suitably developed, and potentially getting involved on a hands-on basis when needed.
You'll need to be a building services specialist, this is a M&E design consultancy after all. You'll be able to demonstrate a background of delivering large, complex schemes, as well as take pleasure from less challenging projects - the chances are you'll be as passionate about engineering as you are client care.
As you'd expect, there is a lot of communication in the role; internally with colleagues, and externally with project partners. It is also expected that you'll be involved with the BIM community, keen to share and discuss best practice.
The rewards are extensive including:
- Salary to £60k plus car allowance
- Private medical cover
- Electric car salary sacrifice scheme
- Stock options
- up to 30 days leave
- Flexible and hybrid working giving you up to an additional 20 days leave a year.
