Location: Manchester / Hybrid (Multiple office locations available)
Rate: Up to £40/ph (£34/ph Consolidated rate) (Inside IR35)
Duration: 6+ months (with potential extensions)

A leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Revit Technician (Electrical) for a contract position working on a portfolio of high-value projects. The successful contractor will support the electrical design team by producing detailed 3D models and drawings, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and modify detailed electrical drawings and schematics using Revit and CAD software
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to develop efficient, buildable designs
  • Carry out clash detections in Revit models and propose effective resolutions
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of drawings with project and client standards
  • Review subcontractor and supplier BIM models for design intent and compatibility
  • Attend coordination meetings (remote or on-site) as required
  • Support delivery planning through feedback on timelines and resourcing
  • Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement within the team

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in a Revit Technician role, with strong Revit MEP modelling skills (essential)
  • Competency in Navisworks and AutoCAD is highly desirable
  • Solid understanding of MEP systems and multi-disciplinary coordination
  • Familiarity with COBie and BIM standards
  • Experience across sectors such as industrial, manufacturing, aviation, education, or healthcare
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations and assurance processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Proactive, solution-focused, and collaborative approach

Additional Information

  • This role is inside IR35
  • Hybrid working available - location and on-site attendance can be flexible, depending on project needs
  • Security clearance (or the ability to obtain it) may be required due to the nature of the work
