A role has come available for an officed base Environmental Consultant (contaminated land/due diligence) to specialise in contaminated land and technical due diligence for site acquisition, capacity planning, planning, site enabling, and delivery in the UK.

You will be working for a highly regarded multi-disciplinary consultancy, situated within a well-established team in Manchester, project managing not only on a contaminated land basis but looking at the wider responsibility of environmental technical due diligence when it comes to planning.

As an Environmental Consultant (contaminated land/due diligence), there will be barely any site work, you will be put through a rigorous training metric to bring you up to speed with all things to do with geoenvironmental and geotechnical engineering, flood risk and drainage, demolition, air quality, noise, ecology, historic environment, and EIA.

Environmental Consultant Specification (contaminated land/due diligence):

  • Environmental Science or Geology background
  • Approaching chartership
  • 2-5 years environmental consultancy relating to contaminated land, Environmental Due Diligence, EIA etc.
  • Experience writing professional reports for review
  • Commutable distance from Manchester.
