An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading HVAC and air movement solutions provider covering London and the surrounding home counties. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a globally established company known for its innovative, energy-efficient ventilation systems.

Region Covered: London & surrounding areas. Ideal candidation location: West London though candidates across London / Home Counties will be covered.
Base: Site-based role, with paid travel time and use of a company vehicle

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems across various customer sites

• Attending and resolving emergency call-outs, participating in the on-call rota

• Fault diagnosis and repair of commercial gas appliances, boilers, burners, and associated equipment

• Completing and submitting technical reports, timesheets, and compliance paperwork in a timely manner

• Ensuring all work complies with health & safety regulations and gas industry standards

• Providing a high level of customer service and promoting the company's reputation

• Supporting sales teams with technical input and identifying potential sales leads

• Mentoring apprentices and contributing to team knowledge sharing and training

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a mobile commercial gas service engineer

• Strong understanding of the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998

• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, gas safety procedures, and unsafe situations protocols

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset

• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team

• Full UK clean driving licence (essential)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages

Essential ACS Gas Qualifications

• Domestic: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, DAH1, CPA1, CONGLP1

• Commercial Heating & Pipework: COCN1, CODNCO1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1, BMP1

• Commercial Catering: CCCN1, CODC1, COCAT1, COMCAT1, COMCAT3, COMCAT5

• Water Systems: UHW

Desirable Certifications: PASMA, MEWP, OFTEC, CCLNG1, CLE1

Package / Salary

• £50,000 - £57,000 basic salary (dependent on experience and qualifications)

• 40 hours site-based + 10 hours guaranteed paid travel time
