Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer - Midlands Region

We're currently recruiting for an Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join a respected contractor delivering high-efficiency, large-scale cooling solutions across the Midlands region.
The company supports sectors such as food production, cold chain logistics, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing, and is known for working with complex ammonia, CO?, and glycol systems in industrial environments - no supermarket refrigeration work involved.

Open to Upskilling

We are open to engineers from supermarket or heavy commercial refrigeration backgrounds who are looking to move into the industrial sector. If you have experience with CO? systems, chillers, or commercial packs, we'll provide the training to get you up to speed.

Qualifications / Experience

• 
  Time-served apprenticeship or technical training
• 
  NVQ / City & Guilds Refrigeration Qualification
• 
  F-Gas (C&G 2079 or CITB equivalent)
• 
  Full UK driving licence
• 
  Ammonia experience a bonus, but not essential - training will be provided

Package

• 
  Salary: Up to £52,000
• 
  Paid door-to-door - at overtime rate
• 
  40-hour working week
• 
  33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
• 
  On-call: 1 in 5 / 6
• 
  Overtime at 1.5x
• 
  Company van with fuel card - available for private use

  Laptop, phone, uniform provided

  Access to ongoing training and certifications in ammonia and CO? systems

Location

Covering a Midlands patch including areas like Birmingham, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Coventry, and surrounding regions.
