The Opportunity

As a Principal High Voltage Engineer - Critical Systems, you'll be responsible for leading and delivering electrical infrastructure design across technical buildings and data centres, as well as supporting major HV projects nationwide. You'll take ownership of detailed design packages for HV and LV distribution systems, private networks, and associated infrastructure, while providing guidance to graduates, apprentices, and junior engineers.

We're particularly interested in engineers with experience in areas such as:

  • DNO coordination and interface design

  • HV private networks, generators, UPS, and earthing systems

  • Data centres and technical infrastructure

  • Application of renewables (battery storage, hydrogen, wind)

  • Software such as ETAP, Paladin, or Trimble

About You

We're looking for a qualified electrical engineer (degree or HNC) with a strong background in HV design and project delivery. You'll have proven ability to manage multiple projects, excellent client-facing skills, and a track record of mentoring others. Forward-thinking and digitally minded, you'll be motivated to deliver smart engineering solutions that meet the needs of today and tomorrow.

Core benefits include:

  • Private medical insurance (with option to add family)

  • Income protection (with flexibility to increase cover)
