This international engineering consultancy seeks an ambitious Chartered Electrical Engineer to spearhead sustainable building services projects across defence, healthcare, and commercial sectors from their Leeds office.
You'll be in a key role delivering cutting-edge, low carbon solutions while developing your leadership and commercial skills within an outstanding building that is less of an office and more of a workplace.
Your Role & Responsibilities
As an Associate or Associate Director within the team, you'll be supporting the Engineering Director deliver people and environmentally focused buildings across defence installations, commercial developments, industrial facilities, retail spaces, healthcare centres, educational establishments and leisure complexes across both public and private sectors.
It is essential that:
- You are degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a closely related discipline
- You possess, or are actively working towards, Chartered Engineer status with CIBSE or the IET.
- You have been working within electrical building services design to UK standards for at least 10 years.
- You can obtain security clearance to MOD "SC" level
- You have experience with modelling software for energy analysis and dynamic simulations
You should have:
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging with high-level stakeholders
- Natural leadership qualities with ambition to develop technical teams
- Commercial awareness combined with technical expertise
- Passion for sustainable design and low carbon solutions
- Ability to thrive in varied client environments and challenging project scenarios
- Background working across defence, healthcare, commercial or industrial sectors
- Understanding of smart building technologies and BIM processes
