Air Conditioning Engineer - London and Surrounding Areas

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a leading Facilities Services provider, working across London and the surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified with F-Gas certification, experienced in both planned and reactive maintenance, and confident working independently across a range of sites. This role will primarily focus on service and maintenance of air conditioning systems, with some chiller work, and occasional small installations. Work will cover schools, commercial sites, and larger facilities.

Duties:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a wide range of air conditioning systems.
• Support with chiller maintenance and repairs where required.
• Diagnose and repair system faults efficiently and effectively.
• Complete all service reports and compliance documentation accurately.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to maintain excellent service standards.
• Participate in the company's call-out rota, providing reactive cover as required.
• Ensure company vehicle, tools, and equipment are properly maintained.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Qualifications & Experience:

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent).
• F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential).
• Experience working on VRV/VRF, splits, and associated systems.
• Experience with chillers (desirable).
• Strong background in servicing, maintenance, and fault finding.
• Full UK driving licence.
• DBS clearance (or ability to obtain due to school contracts).

Salary / Package:

• Basic Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications).
• 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
• Door-to-door travel policy.
• Company van & fuel card provided (option for private use).
• Pension scheme & discretionary benefits.
• Standard hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch).
• Participation in a call-out rota with additional payments.
