An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Structural Engineer to take on a key leadership role within one of the region's most respected Consultancies. With a proud history of shaping the Yorkshire skyline for nearly forty years, this practice continues to deliver some of the area's most ambitious and transformative projects.

Their Leeds office is thriving - home to a strong, diverse and highly capable team of Engineers and Technicians who combine technical excellence with creativity and collaboration. They're now seeking an experienced Principal or Associate Structural Engineer to help lead this talented group, continuing to inspire, develop and mentor while guiding the delivery of complex, high-profile projects.

This is a role for someone who leads by example - commercially astute, technically confident and people-focused. The successful candidate will take ownership of a varied portfolio of projects across Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Residential and Leisure sectors, balancing technical delivery with team leadership, project management and client engagement.

The Leeds team is currently driving forward some of the region's most exciting developments, from major city centre regeneration and residential schemes to large-scale healthcare and education programmes with values exceeding £1bn. It's a technically stimulating environment where no two days are the same and where innovative thinking is both encouraged and expected.

Ideal candidates will be Chartered (or working towards this) with proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary design teams within a Consultancy setting. They should bring a confident, engaging approach to client relationships, a clear understanding of project finances and delivery, and an enthusiasm for contributing to the wider growth and strategy of the business.
