Reporting to the Commercial Director, we are recruiting for a Senior QS to join a large SME Construction Group of companies with offices throughout the UK working on Civil Engineering schemes up to £7 million.

Key Responsibilities

* Management of a portfolio of projects
* Compile programme-based cost to complete / project budgets
* Advising on procurement strategy.
* Preparing subcontract documents, including bills of quantities.
* Flag areas of Commercial Risk to Commercial Manager
* Sub-Contractor Procurement
* Prepare Costs for Tenders
* Undertaking CVR's
* Performing risk and value management and cost control
* Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risk
* Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports
* Price up variations and obtain agreement with clients
* Agree Final Accounts
* Provide commercial advice to the site team as and when required
* Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
* Assist senior management with the preparation of contractual claims
