Engineering Geologist

Location: Leeds/ Manchester (Hybrid)

Join this established site investigation team on an exciting multi-year project, working predominantly around the Leeds area; the ideal opportunity for an experienced Engineering Geologist to work on significant infrastructure projects with guaranteed work and minimal travel disruption.

The Engineering Geologist Role

Working as part of the ground investigation team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Ground Investigation (GI) logging - detailed soil and rock logging on site
  • Sampling and monitoring - groundwater, gas, and contamination assessment
  • Supervising drilling operations - managing tracked rigs and hand-held equipment
  • Factual report writing - preparing technical reports on laptops between sites
  • Site safety management - ensuring all operations meet health and safety standards
  • Client liaison - working directly with the client and main contractors
