An established and respected multidisciplinary environmental consultancy is seeking a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer to lead their ground investigation and contaminated land operations. This is a hands-on senior role where you'll drive both technical delivery and team development across a diverse and growing portfolio of projects. This isn't a back-office role you'll remain actively involved in fieldwork while progressing your career at a senior technical and managerial level.

What You'll Be Doing As A Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer

Your core responsibility will be delivering and managing high-quality Geo-environmental investigations, you'll bring technical expertise to contaminated land assessments and due diligence investigations, positioning yourself at the forefront of project delivery.

The role offers genuine variety across sectors experiencing significant growth and investment. You'll work on landfill operations, transfer depot assessments, EV infrastructure works, due diligence investigations for EV schemes and agricultural site assessments. This breadth of experience will keep your technical knowledge current and your career trajectory steep.

You'll oversee and coordinate on-site work, manage site teams, and collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders while producing high-quality reports and technical deliverables. Refined report writing skills are essential to success here.

The Ideal Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer

You'll need several years of experience in geotechnical investigations and contaminated land assessments, working at senior level with all-round experience across the discipline.

Excellent report writing and communication skills are also invaluable, this company prides itself on the quality of client communication. You must have a demonstrated ability to manage projects and deliver high-quality results consistently.
