An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing building services design consultancy in Harrogate, conveniently located close to Harrogate train station, working alongside an experienced and well established team of Consulting Engineers. The practice has been operating for four years, has a team of nine plus several contractors, and continues to secure major projects across the UK.

About the Company:

The consultancy specialises in high-rise commercial residential developments, student accommodation, and build-to-rent schemes, working directly with developers and contractors from early design stages right through to handover. Their project portfolio includes a completed high-rise design in Leeds, a large riverside scheme in Newcastle, and major residential developments in Canary Wharf, Stratford, Tottenham and Manchester.

Alongside their core residential work, they are also developing stronger partnerships with clients in the non domestic sector, leading to opportunities in new build schools, office buildings, and refurbishment projects.

The Role:

What makes this opportunity stand out is the level of support and expertise already within the team. You'll be working alongside highly knowledgeable engineers. This is a role focused on development, progression and high-quality engineering.

You will be contributing to electrical building services design across a wide range of schemes, with the chance to expand your skill set, work on major city-centre projects, and develop strong client-facing experience.

About You:

You will ideally have a degree in Building Services, Electrical Engineering or a related field (or be working through a degree apprenticeship), with experience across both design and site-based roles. Revit capability is beneficial, but enthusiasm and a willingness to develop your skills are equally important, and Amtech/Trimble experience is necessary.
