The Opportunity

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join a leading facilities management provider, delivering high-quality maintenance services across a portfolio of high-profile retail forecourt sites in the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation that partners with nationally recognised brands. The environment is fast-paced and customer-facing, so attention to detail, professionalism, and strong technical capability are essential. Previous experience within retail or forecourt environments would be highly advantageous.

Key duties include:

  • Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks

  • Responding to reactive repair requests

  • Electrical distribution, lighting, and power maintenance

    • Inspecting and clearing drainage and gully systems

    • Basic plumbing repairs (taps, toilets, sinks)

    • Joinery repairs (doors, digi locks)

    • Painting and redecoration

You'll also be responsible for:

  • Maintaining maintenance records and H&S documentation

  • Completing mandatory and task-based training

  • Supporting occasional out-of-hours works (with notice provided)

  • Undertaking additional tasks as directed by management

Reporting Structure

You will report to the Electrical Manager/Supervisor and work closely with both internal functional teams and client representatives on a day-to-day basis.

Technical Requirements

Essential:

  • Recognised electrical apprenticeship

  • City & Guilds Electrical Installation (Part 1 & 2) OR NVQ Level 3

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

  • Basic IT skills (email & Microsoft Office)

  • Full UK driving licence

What We're Looking For

  • Strong electrical and general fabric maintenance capability

  • Experience within retail or customer-facing environments

  • A proactive and service-led approach

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organisation offering stability, professional development, and exposure to a high-profile client portfolio.
