Commercial Gas Engineer - South Yorkshire / East Midlands

Location: South Yorkshire / East Midlands | Salary: Up to £50,000 basic | Hours: 40 per week | Job Type: Full-Time
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities solutions company specialising in commercial heating and pumping solutions across the UK. They provide installations, servicing, hire boiler solutions, and emergency support for commercial and industrial clients.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their busy field team. This is a hands-on role focused on commercial heating systems, including hire boilers, new installations, planned maintenance, and breakdown response. The role involves day-to-day travel (D2D) to client sites, offering variety and the opportunity to develop your skills across multiple commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial gas-fired equipment and hire boilers
• 
  Responding to breakdowns and emergency call-outs in commercial and industrial settings
• 
  Ensuring all work meets health, safety, and regulatory standards
• 
  Maintaining accurate records of service and compliance
• 
  Delivering excellent customer service to commercial clients

Requirements

• 
  Gas Safe registered with commercial experience
• 
  Proven experience in installation, service, and breakdown work on commercial systems
• 
  Full UK driving licence
• 
  Flexible and proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
• 
  Professional and customer-focused attitude
