Handyman

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Handyman / Handyperson to join one of the country's leading Facilities Management companies working around Stratford and the surrounding areas in North and East London.

Ideal candidate location: Stratford, Barking, Dagenham, Romford, Chingford, Camden or anywhere similar in East London

Some experience with basic plumbing in a commercial setting will be highly beneficial for this role This will be a multi-site role offering building maintenance services across a range of disciplines aimed at keeping services and costs in-house. Experience working in commercial premises, particularly the retail sector, would be a distinct advantage.

The work consists of a mix of PPM and reactive building works internally and externally to include:

Building

• Roof - repair roof leaks and quarterly gutter and gully clearance
• Brickwork - repairs to walls
• Floor - repair vinyl and ceramic tiles
• Car Park / yard works
• Roller shutters - annual PPM and reactive repairs

Painting and decorating

• Carry out minor painting repairs

Plumbing and drainage

• Unblock drains, urinals, toilets, and sinks.
• Repair leaking taps and washers.

For the right candidate a fantastic salary / package is on offer consisting of the following:

Basic salary - £32821
Optional standby 1 in 3 Fri, Sat, Sun = £1085 per year for a total of £33866
Mon - Fri 40 hours per week
Paid travel time (after first 30m each way)
Overtime
Company Van with fuel card, option for private use
33 Days Holiday inclusive of banks
