Labourer - Hire Equipment Depot

Location: Doncaster
Salary: £27,000 per year
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, with overtime available)
We're working with a well-established specialist hire company that provides temporary heating, cooling, and pumping solutions to a wide range of industries across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join their Doncaster depot.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the right attitude who is keen to learn, develop new skills, and build a long-term career - with clear progression into engineering roles available.

The Role

You'll play a key part in keeping depot operations running smoothly, ensuring equipment is prepared, maintained, and ready for hire.
Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing equipment for hire (cleaning, fuelling, and basic checks)
• Keeping the yard and depot clean, organised, and safe
• Assisting drivers with loading and unloading equipment
• Carrying out basic maintenance and reporting faults
• Moving and handling stock, supporting stock checks
• Following all health & safety procedures and using PPE

What We're Looking For

The most important thing here is attitude - they want someone who is willing to get stuck in, learn, and grow with the business.
You will ideally have:

• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on responsibility
• Good teamwork skills
• Physical fitness for manual duties
• Basic mechanical awareness (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)

Desirable:

• Previous experience in plant hire, construction, or a similar environment
• Forklift (FLT) licence
