An established multidisciplinary engineering practice with a strong design-led ethos is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Leicester office.

Since its formation, the business has developed a broad and varied portfolio across residential, commercial, retail, healthcare and regeneration schemes, alongside more complex and technically demanding projects. Their ability to deliver integrated Civil and Structural Engineering solutions has led to long-standing relationships with leading architects, developers and contractors.

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in leading infrastructure design on a range of development projects, from initial feasibility through to detailed design and delivery. You will be responsible for drainage strategies, SuDS design, Flood Risk Assessments, highway layouts and earthworks, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and in line with client expectations.

A key aspect of the role will be anticipating and resolving design challenges early, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to produce practical and cost-effective solutions. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to maintaining the high technical standards the business is known for.

The role will involve attending client meetings and occasional site visits, therefore a full UK driving licence is required.
