Senior Associate Building Surveyor / Operations Lead / Director - Manchester

A fast growing, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to step into a key leadership role within their newly established Manchester city centre office.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business who have achieved significant growth in the last few years. With substantial new projects and future growth plans on the horizon, there is an opportunity to add a dynamic and ambitious senior member to the team in Manchester, working directly with the Partner.

You will be joining a consultancy with a strong national presence, and a clear focus on developing and promoting high performing individuals.

The Opportunity

• Join a newly established Manchester office (circa 18 months old) with a current team of 10, set to grow across Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, and Project Management.
• Step into an Operations Lead position, supporting the Partner in driving the business forward and identifying new business opportunities in the North West.
• Be part of a consultancy with a strong ethical and sustainability focus.
• Join during a period of significant growth, with turnover having doubled in recent years and further expansion planned.

The Role

• Manage a select portfolio of projects across a range of sectors
• Support the day to day operations of the team
• Contribute to business development, helping to win new work and grow existing client relationships
• Play a key role in raising the company's profile across the North West
• Engage with key clients and stakeholders
• Support financial performance, including invoicing, cash flow, and project tracking
• Mentor and develop junior staff, contributing to team growth and capability

About You

• MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor with significant consultancy experience
• Proven track record in project delivery and client facing roles
• Commercially aware with an interest in business development and growth
• Ambitious and motivated to step into senior management responsibility
• Strong leadership potential with the ability to support and develop a team
