I am looking to speak with a Principal Geotechnical Engineer (office Lead) that is looking to build and develop a Geotechnical Design office in North Carolina for a well respected design consultancy.
As the Principal Geotechnical Engineer (office Lead) You will have the opportunity to jump on active projects/clients with support from the wider regions but have autonomy to build and develop your own Geotechnical office with progression to VP.
Type of work include all aspects of project management of site activities, technical reporting as well as more technical elements including but not limited to; Retaining Wall and Embankment Design, Slope Stability Analysis and Landslide Mitigation, Ground Improvement, Deep/Shallow Foundations, Excavation Support Systems, Forensic Work, Dams and Levees Engineering.
Principal Geotechnical Engineer (office Lead) Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geological, or Mining Engineering, or Geology.
- MS Geotechnical Engineering/Geology (beneficial)
- PE qualified
- 10+ years proficiency delivering complex Geotechnical projects from inception through to completion.
- Experience managing and developing junior engineers and supporting with PE.
- Extensive client management exposure with business development experience.
