Ben Dakin

I joined Calibre Search in October 2026 with 12+ years of Recruitment experience across agency, internal and RPO. I have joined the Leeds Team running the Environmental sector desk, within which I have 3 years of previous experience.

I recruit across all things Environmental, from Ecology to Hydrology, Landscape Architecture, Air & Noise Quality, EIA consultants, Arboriculture, Heritage and Archology. I recruit at all levels within my sector from Graduates to Director level. I have three years previous sector experience recruiting in this exact space. I have some great preexisting relationships which I have brought into my role at Calibre and I am also working hard to forge new ones, especially with our multitude of PSL clients.

I have been the Vice Chairman of the Love Me, Love My Face Foundation Charity for 10 years, raising awareness around TCS. I spend most of my free time with my Wife, my Daughter and my dog. Maverick, a good walk, a pub lunch and a movie night at home is a spot on weekend in my book!!
