Recruitment Consultant

Years in Industry
Recruiting since September 2021 I’m motivated by introducing candidates to roles that aren’t typically found elsewhere on the market. This is particularly true where it’s to the benefit of a client start-up established to prioritise flexibility and working actively towards Net Zero and the reduction of embodied carbon in the built environment.
Sector Experience
I operate in the Built Environment sector, across which I have cultivated a strong network in the Civil and Structural consultancy market throughout London and the Home Counties. To date, I have earned a reputation for supporting SMEs, national and Tier One multidisciplinary consultancies with achieving their internal growth plans ranging from Project to National Director level hires. Areas of Civil Consultancy which I have carved a niche in include: Water Engineering, Façade Consultancy, Fire and Life Safety, Structural Engineering and Sustainable Urban Drainage.
High Calibre Fact
I’ve won ten Big Mad Andy Dobby Club Peep Show quizzes. My love for the series is due to a constant cycle of exposure from 2003 onwards due to much older siblings. My favourite character is Tony’s husband Toni or Alan Johnson. I have a diverse background, including English, Sri Lankan, Portuguese and Irish heritage. During the 2000s, I spent much of my life in Sri Lanka during the civil war which absolutely shaped my worldviews and belief in social justice. I am working towards becoming a Project Quantity Surveyor, which Calibre has been massively supportive of, allowing me to cultivate a network in the built environment, whilst also deepening my industry knowledge prior to the start of my career.
