I recruit in the Architecture market, covering a range of roles on the consultancy side including Architects, Architectural Assistants, and Architectural Technologists, as well as Design and Technical Managers for Developers and Main Contractors.

I’ve been at Calibre since 2016 and have had the pleasure of building some great relationships over the years with clients of ours across the region. For me, recruitment is all about asking the right questions (and more importantly, listening!) to get a thorough understanding of what our clients, as well as the candidates we're working with, are looking for. From there, it's a simple case of matching the right person to the right company! The most satisfying placement I've made recently was a Part II who joined a long-time client of mine in Sheffield. She is a talented Architectural Assistant who needed someone to give her a platform to grow, and it's great to see her thriving in her new role.

I’m a keen runner and like to bore my colleagues on a regular basis with updates on whatever marathon I happen to be training for at the time! My personal highlight was running the London Marathon in 2022. The crowds were fantastic and it’s a once in a lifetime experience that I’d recommend to anyone who hasn’t done it.
