Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

A Principal Mechanical Design Engineer is sought by this top notch regional contractor based nicely for commuting whether you are based in Leeds or Bradford.

Carrying out work from £50k to £20m, as a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer you will have the chance to work on energy centres up to 3mw and beyond, decarbonisation projects and regular building services works in offices, education, HQ buildings and resi schemes.

The role will see you being based in the office working as part of the team, heading out of the office to meet with clients and work with the site team to talk through the installation and check it is being done in line with your scheme.

From their office base between Leeds and Bradford they carry out schemes across the Yorkshire region, Lincolnshire and London; they are currently online for c. £60m of work in the big smoke!

Naturally, this is not a first role in building services and you will need to be working as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer or Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to be considered for this role.

Similarly, you will ideally need to be Chartered or working towards it, but have a HNC or equivalent in mechanical building services engineering or a related subject as a minimum.
