Putting relationships first
Mark, Matthew and Richard bought Calibre back in 2009. They'd been working for the business for a number of years and decided to make it their own. Having known each other for many a year, they saw the value in long-standing relationships and put that at the heart of their strategy. An old friend from long ago, Simon, then joined in 2011 and Pete, an old friend of Matthew's, opened the Manchester office in 2013.
Recruitment is about finding the right person for the job and the right job for the person. And we do that by being good people with good instincts. We take great pride and responsibility in helping candidates to grow and helping businesses to evolve. That means saying it how it is and making sure we're on the other end of the phone when you need us. We like to listen, so we keep our ears open and our mouths shut, and we spend plenty of time understanding who you are and where you're heading. We're a sounding board, a strategic partner and an ally. We're also big believers in the Kaizen philosophy and place a lot of value on positive change, which keeps a smile on everyone's faces and helps to motivate and empower our team.
