- Description
Civil Design Engineers (Water) - Wastewater and/or Clean Water Networks
Location: North West preferred (other UK locations considered)
£35,000 - £50,000 plus benefits
I'm currently supporting a leading consultancy that's looking to bring several Civil Design Engineers (Water) on board to help deliver a wide range of long-term water industry frameworks across the UK. These are permanent roles offering fantastic job security, exciting projects, and career growth through AMP8 and beyond.
One of the most notable wins for this consultancy is a £100 million single-supplier framework with United Utilities, focused on improving river health across the Northwest of England. It's a 10-year programme, so they're really investing in the right people to deliver something meaningful and long-lasting.
Why this opportunity stands out:- You'd be joining a team that works closely with multiple water companies, not just United Utilities-so there's real variety and breadth to the projects.
- The work involves wastewater and clean water networks, from optioneering through to detailed design.
- The company has a strong reputation for innovation, sustainability, and delivering value through collaboration.
- They've got major AMP8 programmes already in motion-and with AMP9 in sight, it's a great time to get involved.
A bit about the team:
You'd be part of a multidisciplinary group of engineers, modellers, and data analysts, all focused on asset management, operational strategy, and capital delivery for major water utilities. There's a strong sense of purpose here-they're not just delivering designs, they're shaping the future of the UK water sector.
What they're looking for:
They're open to engineers with experience in wastewater or clean water networks who are keen to work on high-impact, technically rewarding projects. If you enjoy tackling complex problems and working with collaborative teams, you'll feel right at home.
If you'd like to learn more (even just a no-pressure chat to explore whether it's the right fit), feel free to get in touch directly. I'm happy to provide more insight into the projects, the team, and what this career move could look like for you.Civil Design Engineers (Water)
