Handyman

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Handyman / Handyperson based in Slough or the surrounding areas to join one of the UK's leading facilities management companies. You will be working mobile covering Slough and the surrounding areas.

Some experience with basic plumbing in a commercial setting will be beneficial for this role. A qualification (C&G or NVQ) ins a building/construction trade will also be beneficial.

This will be is a multi-site role offering building maintenance services across a range of disciplines aimed at keeping services and costs in-house. Experience working in commercial premises, particularly the retail sector, would be a distinct advantage.

The work consists of a mix of PPM and reactive building works internally and externally to include:

Building

• Roof - repair roof leaks and quarterly gutter and gully clearance
• Brickwork - repairs to walls
• Floor - repair vinyl and ceramic tiles
• Car Park / yard works
• Roller shutters - annual PPM and reactive repairs

Painting and decorating

• Carry out minor painting repairs

Plumbing and drainage

• Unblock drains, urinals, toilets, and sinks.
• Repair leaking taps and washers.

For the right candidate a fantastic salary / package is on offer consisting of the following:

Basic salary - £31,785.72
Mon-Fri 40 hours per week
Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes
Overtime
Company Van + fuel card
33 Days Holiday inclusive of banks
