Building Services Clerk of Works

We're looking for an experienced M&E (Building Services) Clerk of Works or project engineer who loves being on site, carrying out surveys and representing the client's interests in meetings.

You'll be joining a practice with offices in Leeds and London and a hugely flexible approach to work; they focus on results, not hours.

In the post you'll be working on a range of projects of differing sizes from motorway services refurbishments to new build, high quality, high-rise residential schemes and everything in between. As a clue, "anyone for tennis?"!

You will need to have a building services background, ideally be electrically biased, and be comfortable discussing mechanical aspects. It is important that you have an awareness of design aspects and enjoy being client facing.

As you would expect, there is a lot of travelling with this Building Services Clerk of Works role as they have clients throughout the country. You will be working opposite a Derbyshire based, Mechanical Engineer creating the opportunity to split the country if you are based in the Newcastle or South East/South West area.
