Description

We are pleased to representing this specialist consulting company who are focussed on Civil Engineering and Transportation planning for the building development sector. Their projects range from large commercial projects through to housing development and are looking to strengthen their resources by appointing a Principal Engineer within their Engineering team.

The Principal Engineer post will require the engineer to possess the necessary experience, knowledge and technical expertise to be able to manage projects and be front of house with the client. The post holder must be conversant in post planning detail design skills on Infrastructure schemes, including but not exhaustive as you may specialise on either Highways or Drainage design. You will also need to be understand utilities, including the diversion and review process.

The key design skills will include delivery of the following;
· Highways Specification;
· Detailed Horizontal Design;
· Detailed Vertical Design (including cross sections and long sections, 3D modelling);
· Detailed Pavement / Footway design;
· Highway surface water drainage;
· Signing & Lining;
· Site clearance;
· Setting out;
· Signals;
· Street lighting;
· Kerbing, and
· Standard Construction Details.
