An opportunity has come available in central London for a Geo-Environmental Consultant to step away from ground investigation and dive into the consultancy side where you will get a chance to concentrate on your technical delivery of projects.
The role as a Geo-Environmental Consultant will surround helping with project management and technical delivery of a variation of complex contaminated land and remediation schemes including redevelopment of gasworks and landfills.
The Geo-Environmental Consultant responsibilities include technical reports e.g. Phase I PRAs, Phase II GQRAs, ground investigation specifications, remediation strategies, verification reports, ES chapters and scoping reports, waste assessments and MMPs. You will also gain exposure in preparation of tenders, proposals and costing.
Geo-Environmental Consultants specification:
- Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or Environmental Science etc.
- Obtained an MSc in a relative subject.
- At least 2 years' experience delivering Geo-Environmental projects on a consultative/contractual basis.
- Extensive design and management of ground investigations via various techniques.
- Experience delivering technical reports on a phase 1, phase 2, remedial, validation and/or geotechnical basis.
- Full UK driving license.
